Lapidem Foundation

The Lapidem foundation is a non-profit organisation whose scope is cultural heritage in it’s broadest sense, both in it’s hidden form (archaeology) as well in the shape of extant monumental buildings and landscapes. The emphasis is on the interaction of these two spheres and the pressure both are under as a result of modern day planning and development schemes.

Starting summer 2012 Sidestone Press and Lapidem will be publishing partners for at least two separate book series focussing on heritage. One series will focus on the more scholarly publications while the other will include titles aimed at a wider audience.

More information on the Lapidem Foundation can be found at their website: www.lapidem.org
