Viktoria Appel MA

Viktoria Appel has been working as a numismatist in the coin trade since 2020. She studied Ancient Cultural Studies at the University of Konstanz and completed a Master’s degree in Classical Archaeology at the University of Cologne, with a minor in Numismatics. Throughout her studies, ancient numismatics was a central focus of her academic work and formed the subject of both her final theses. Her involvement in the excavation project in Krefeld enabled her, as part of her Master’s thesis, to engage in-depth with the numismatic material and its archaeological context.
