Dr. Martin Segschneider

Martin Segschneider (1966) specialises in coastal and maritime archaeology and works as a senior researcher at the Lower Saxony Institute for Historical Coastal Research (NIhK) in Wilhelmshaven/Germany. He has published various articles and books about the archaeology of the North Frisian Islands and Heligoland, including the topics of the historic role of Heligoland red flint and prehistoric seafaring.
