Sidestone Launches Free e-library

The new digital library by Sidestone Press provides access to most of the ebooks published by Sidestone completely for free. All visitors to the Sidestone website can freely browse, search and read our electronic books. This new research tool is offered in co-operation with Sidestone’s new partner Srcibd.com.
Although traditional publishers will shield the content of their books in order to maximize sales, Sidestone feels it is in the best interest of both their authors and their readers to maximize access to their books instead. If an academic book sells a few hundred copies this is considered a good-selling book by traditional publishers. However, by selling printed books, but also allowing free digital access, Sidestone books are accessed and read thousands of times!
Whether you are a student learning for an exam, a professor preparing a paper in a hotel room far from home, or a scholar from one of the many parts in the world without good-quality academic libraries, you all have access to Sidestone publications.
Everyone can access the books in our e-library, read and search them and have all basic tools available compared to a standard PDF viewer. This is all free of charge. Only if you wish to download the full PDF (to keep on your computer or mobile device, or even to print at home) we charge a minimal fee (usually only € 4,50). By paying this minimal fee you help us to keep the e-library running.
At the moment not all our books are included in the e-library, doing so takes time: we have to convert files, ask for permissions, deal with copyright issues, upload files and websites. However, we plan to add more and more of our books the coming weeks, so if the book you’re looking for isn’t there yet, just be patient, or simply send us a mail requesting the book you need be put on the top of our to-do-list!
