Saturday 17th of December two new Sidestone books were presented at the church in Rhenen on the Early Medieval Cemetery that was excavated there over 60 years ago. The Cemetery of Rhenen is the largest and possibly richest Early Medieval cemetery of the Netherlands.

In preparation: three books on leatherwork from ancient Egypt
We are currently working on three new books on leatherwork from ancient Egypt. All three books are written by André J. Veldmeijer, who is currently assistant director for Egyptology at the Netherlands Flemish Institute Cairo and specialist on leatherwork from ancient Egypt.
New in our e-library: Oursi hu-Beero
The new book Oursi hu-Beero is now freely readable in our e-library. This final report describes the study of an exceptionally well-preserved Iron Age building discovered in northern Burkina Faso, West Africa. The site of Oursi hu-beero was excavated in 2000 and 2001 by a scientific team from the universities of Frankfurt am Main and Ouagadougou. This report melds archaeological, historical and environmental data into a thrilling story.
Sidestone publishes book on Pterosaurs
